Product Description: Enteric Coated Rabeprazole Sodium 20mg & Domperidone (SR) 10mg Capsules (IR).
The combination of rabeprazole and domperidone is commonly prescribed as an antiulcer and gastroprokinetic medication to manage conditions involving excessive stomach acid production and impaired gastric motility. Here are its main therapeutic uses based on medical sources:
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): It helps reduce acid reflux symptoms like heartburn, regurgitation, and nighttime heartburn by suppressing acid secretion and improving esophageal motility.
Peptic Ulcer Disease: The medication aids in healing and preventing ulcers in the stomach or duodenum by lowering acid levels and promoting faster gastric emptying to reduce irritation.
